Karen Lønne Ring is a doctoral student at the Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University, where she researches the politicization of international criminal justice. For her doctoral thesis, Karen focuses on the judicialization of victimhood at the International Criminal Court (ICC), aiming to uncover the ideas and conceptions of victims and how these influence the legal construction and recognition of victimhood at the ICC.
