Decolonial Sociology of Law Seminar Series: "Decolonial Sweden"
Bringing together perspectives from scholars at varying career stages, this research seminar series offers a platform for critical discussion and debate on a range of issues germane to decolonising sociology of law, including the role of researchers, positionality, and knowledge production, re-evaluating and reimagining foundational scholarship in the discipline, and exploring ongoing decolonial practices and processes.

Michael McEachrane is a member and rapporteur of the UN Permanent Forum on People of African Descent. He is a 2024 Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Law School Human Rights Program and a 2024-2025 Racial Justice Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Carr Center. He is also a Senior Visiting Researcher at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in Lund, Sweden, and an external affiliate at the University College London (UCL) Sarah Parker Remond Centre for the Study of Racism and Racialisation.
