The Sociology of Law Department is hiring an Assistant Professor in law, rights, and social movements

a white building in a park.

The search is on for 25 researchers from around the world in Lund University’s largest ever international recruitment drive. Welcome to join a world-class university dedicated to understanding, explaining, and improving our world and the human condition.

As an Assistant Professor, you develop your qualifications over four years. You can then be promoted to permanent employment as a senior lecturer.

You hold a doctoral degree or have corresponding research expertise in sociology of law, law, social sciences or other subjects considered relevant by the employer. You currently hold an international position in the research field and have not received a salary or grant from Sweden since 31 December 2021.

We prioritise applicants who have obtained a doctoral degree within the last five years from the closing date for the application, unless there are special grounds. Special grounds normally refer to parental leave and illness.

Apply and read more about the position and the required qualifications in Lund University's recruitment system.

We are looking forward to your application. If you have questions, please contact the Head of Department, Anna Lundberg, at anna [dot] lundberg [at] soclaw [dot] lu [dot] se.
